The program will be taking place at the Orange County and Southeast...

The program will be taking place at the Orange County and Southeast Asian Archives housed at UC Irvine. Transportation will be provided, however, seats are limited so please reserve your spot ASAP.
Undergraduate and graduate students will be given the opportunity to engage in research through exploring the special collections at the archives. This is the biggest collection of Southeast Asian archives in the nation, and this trip encourages students to explore archives that are not often accessible to students at UCLA. Visiting the archives and interacting with historic documents will allow students to engage deeper into Southeast Asian histories, which intersect with the personal and familial histories of many students, thus providing an opportunity for personal growth and reflection. Providing this chance to interact with the plethora of materials at the archives will also encourage UCLA students to contribute to the modest collection of Southeast Asian Archives at UCLA.

Please meet at the Student Activities Center by 12PM. Large stairs facing Kaufman Hall. Vans will leave shortly after, so please try to be on time.
