~The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day of Obligation which means that the Church sees it as so important it treats it like a Sunday! That's why all Catholics are required to go to Mass

~This will be the ONLY Mass at UCLA. [There will not be a 12:10pm Mass in Ackerman]

~ Why the Immaculate Conception?
Because the Blessed Mary is conceived without sin by the grace of God. This allowed her to conceive by the Holy Spirit, and thus bring Jesus (aka Savior of All) into this world. So it's kind of a big deal.

~If you are unable to attend, check out Mass times at a few local parishes: St. Paul the Apostle, St. Martin of Tours, St. Timothy's, Church of the Good Shepherd
