Presented by USC El Centro Chicano, Institute for Diversity & Empowerment at Annenberg (IDEA) & USC Annenberg Third Space Initiative. Join us for an Advance Screening of an Episode of FOX's new animated series "Bordertown" followed by Q&A with Mark Hentemann, Nicholas Gonzalez, Lalo Alcaraz, USC Student Maria Jose "MJ" Plascencia & USC Annenberg Professor Josh Kun. Co-Moderators: USC Annenberg Professor Robert Hernandez & El Centro Chicano Director Billy Vela.

Bordertown has set out to stir the pot of the U.S.'s supposedly enlightened race relations like no other show has in a generation. The show's topical border humor has become increasingly relevant in light of recent political developments.

Chicano cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz was brought on to the team along with four other Latino writers to help shape Bordertown's world around their own experiences as Latinos.

Co-sponsored by: Latina/o Student Assembly (LSA), Annenberg Latino Student Association (ALSA), & USC Cultural and Advocacy Centers.
