The Players' Society is seeking actors for our production of Eugene Ionesco's absurdist comedy "Rhinoceros".
Auditions will take place on Monday, November 30th at 7 PM in AF 205. The audition will consist of group readings from the script of the show, and NO PRE-MEMORIZED MATERIAL is required to audition for the show. We ask, however, that all auditioners arrive on time at 7 and prepare to stay for the entirety of the reading session.
Callbacks will take place on Tuesday, December 1st at 10 PM in AF 206B. Those being called back for parts will be notified via email. Please keep in mind that not receiving a callback does NOT mean you will not be cast in the show, and vice versa.
Rehearsal schedules will vary from actor to actor. Preliminary rehearsals will be twice a week during Interterm, and full rehearsals will begin at the start of Spring semester. Dates and times for all rehearsals will be determined at a later date based on the cast's availability. Please note that ONLY three actors will be required to rehearse over Interterm, so if you are unable to participate during that time, there are still plenty of roles available to you.
If you are not interested in performing in the cast, but would like to be considered for a tech role, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and contact information. Those who audition for the cast will also be considered for tech roles if they are not cast in the show.
Come audition for us -- we're positively HORNY for you.
