Free yourself from midterm stress and experience creative ways to use writing for wellness
with poet, India Radfar. We will do a series of writing exercises prompted by passages from a fairytale and poetry. Sharing what one has created is an option, not an obligation. No previous writing/artistic experience is necessary. In addition, Learn how you can get involved with the Creative Minds Project (CMP), a program of UCLArts and Healing and Students for Integrative Medicine. The CMP brings therapeutic art, expressive poetry, music and drumming groups to homeless agencies in Venice, Santa Monica, and West LA. This program includes volunteers who are creative arts therapists or therapists with experience integrating the arts, master’s level creative arts therapy trainees, and UCLA graduate students and undergraduates.

India Radfar, CAPF, is a poet with five published books. She teaches for California Poets-in-the-Schools, Writegirl, and the Creative Minds Project. She is a Certified Applied Poetry Facilitator for the International Federation for Biblio/Poetry Therapy, and was nominated for Poet Laureate of Los Angeles (2014).
