VITA is a free program sponsored byt he IRS which can prepare simple or low income (under $58,000 per household) tax returns for FREE!
Free tax filing starts on February 15th, and ends on April 7th. We recommend you come early in the season to get your refund sooner.
Free tax filing will take place at CSUF on:
Wednesday 4-8pm McCarthy Hall 565
Thursday 4-8pm McCarthy Hall 565
Saturday 12-4pm Langsdorf Hall 403-B
You will need to Bring
Social Security Card or ITIN for all family members
Picture ID
W-2 and all 1099 forms
1098 forms for educational expense
Please bring ALL required material, no exceptions.

The CSUF VITA Program offers free tax help to low- to moderate-income people who cannot prepare their own tax returns. Certified volunteers receive training to help prepare basic tax returns in communities across Orange County. Families and individuals are also assisted in claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), and in accessing financial services and training.
CSUF VITA has three locations:
Fullerton: Langsdorf Hall at CSUF
Placentia: The Whitten Center
Irvine: CSUF Irvine Campus
