The mission of SFER is to close the opportunity gap & ensure an excellent education for all students by mobilizing the next generation of leaders in education reform. SFER at UCLA is dedicated to taking action and advocating for the rights of students.
As UCLA students our aim is to advocate for students within the K-12 system by recognizing the issues that need to be changed within LAUSD and taking action to change them. We do this by communicating with other community organizers, policy makers, school board members, senators, our governor etc. We give insight as to what it means to be a student and how the education system should change in order to better serve the student body. SFER at UCLA is dedicated to taking action and advocating for our rights as students.
