ATHRC, a student-led group at UCLA, facilitates workshops to improve the health literacy of trafficking survivors in Los Angeles.
The UCLA Anti-Trafficking and Human Rights Coalition (ATHRC) is a student-led group at UCLA, founded in 2009. Since its inception, ATHRC expanded from research to practice. In 2010, ATHRC began piloting workshops at the CAST shelter to improve the health literacy of trafficking survivors. The organization intends to continue its expansion to continue serving victims of human trafficking.
