Pianist Alison Edwards maintains an active career of teaching and performing while leading the nationally recognized Piano Pedagogy Program at Cal State Fullerton. An exciting soloist and chamber musician, she has been featured in concerto performances with several orchestras including the Peninsula Symphony, the Marina del Rey/Westchester Symphony, the Brentwood Symphony and the Rio Hondo Symphony. Edwards was first prize winner in the Carmel Music Society Competition. Her playing has been described as “alternating strength and delicacy, playing with incredible fluency... a truly thrilling performance” (Sunday Peninsula Herald). Edwards' regional and national performances include solo and collaborative recitals at venues such as Steinway Hall- Los Angeles, Schoenberg Hall-UCLA, the Lawrence Conservatory, the Irvine Barclay Theater, the SMU Meadows School of the Arts and for the LA Museum of Contemporary Art Citycircus event. She has enjoyed collaborating with Southern California's leading musicians, including members of the Orange County Pacific Symphony and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra.
