On behalf of the Latino Greek Council at UCLA, we cordially invite you to apply to our 2016 scholarship!
The Latino Greek Council was founded in the Spring of 2005 and proudly stands today as an eight organization body. One of the three major initiatives of our council is the Promotion of Higher Education and Student Retention. In order to uphold this standard, we provide an annual scholarship opportunity for our fellow Bruins.
-Must be an under- represented student
-Be a full- time student with a minimum GPA of 2.55
-Be a Freshman, First-Year Transfer, or LGC Member
-Exhibit financial need and community involvement
Our yearly scholarship is geared to provide financial assistance to our under-represented community at UCLA. Although our scholarship is not an enormous amount, we know that it can go a long way and ease some of the many financial burdens we have as students in higher education. The application deadline for our scholarship will be Friday, February 26th 2016 at 4:00PM. On that Friday, our Scholarship Committee will be accepting applications in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Relations located at Kerckhoff Hall, Room 109. For any early drop-off arrangements please contact our council's Scholarship Chair, Ashley Pech, at BruinLgc.Scholarship@gmail.com. All online submissions must be emailed to the scholarship email and addressed with the subject "Scholarship Committee". For a copy of the application, any questions, or concerns regarding our scholarship, please email Ashley Pech.
To any and all applicants, the Latino Greek Council wishes you lots of luck. We look forward to reading your applications.
Thank you for considering our opportunity!
