Join the Adelante Tutorial Program as we go to Bell Gardens High School to provide tutoring and mentoring services. Site visits take place on Wednesdays 3-5 pm. We provide transportation!
This program was created in 1997 by the Latino Business Student Association (LBSA). For the past 17 years the Adelante Tutorial Program has outreached to the Bell Gardens community with the goal of preparing high school students and parents for college eligibility. Adelante feels that it is necessary to outreach to students from the Bell Gardens community because they are underrepresented in the higher education setting. Through tutoring, mentoring, and insight into professional development, Adelante provides the students with the necessary resources towards a higher education. For more information please contact us.
