UCLA's ASCE student chapter is a student-run society that seeks to enhance students' knowledge of civil engineering through curriculum-enriching activities
Chartered in 1959, UCLA's American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) student chapter has been successful in providing students with an opportunity to expand on the knowledge they gain in the classroom. It allows them to partake in hands-on projects that are comparable to real world situations and experiences. In addition to projects, students can further excel in the field of civil engineering through their attendance and participation in workshops, conferences, information sessions, etc.
