1) Oversee the school's proper execution of student academic rights.
Promote extracurricular dialogue between students, faculty, alumni, and industry.
2) Provide leadership opportunities, assistance, and support for engineering students and engineering student organizations.
3) Foster the continual improvement of engineering education and professionalism within the school and the university.
4) Recognize outstanding students and faculty in the school.
5) Coordinate activities and events with other student organizations both at the university and throughout the nation.
6) Encourage membership in engineering honoraries, social organizations, and professional societies, as well as participation in university-wide events.
7) Promote The Henry Samueli School of Engineering within the university, the community, and in industry.
8) Raise funds to finance functions associated with the engineering student organizations and the engineering student body.
