Our mission is to create an environment for beginning and intermediate dancers to grow, train, and challenge themselves.
Are you interested in Hip Hop Dance and Choreography? Never danced before? Do you ever wonder what it would be like to know how to dougie or do the naenae? Have you ever wanted to join a team of dancers eager to grow and learn with you? Then come out to Foundations Choreography Auditions at the beginning of every quarter!
Foundations Choreography is a new organization in the UCLA dance community whose mission is to create an environment for beginning and intermediate dancers to grow, train, and challenge themselves. Whether you’ve never danced before, you’re just getting back into it, or you’re keen on improving, we are here for you. Join one of our training teams this quarter or attend our free weekly dance classes! Absolutely no dance experience is necessary. Foundations Choreography is a place for you to build yourself!
Interested in teaching one of our weekly beginner workshops?
TL;DR
Turn in application and message Vincent Duong Tang.
If you have at least 2 years of dance experience and are interested in teaching a workshop:
1. Fill out this short application!

2. After completing the application, message the page or Vincent Duong Tang to notify that you have completed the application. Your application will be voted on at the following leadership meeting.
3. You will soon be contacted about your application status after the leadership meeting. If selected, we will try to schedule you a workshop date (typically Friday evenings).
4. Once a date is confirmed, you will receive an official confirmation email around two weeks before your workshop.
5. If you have taught a workshop before and would like to teach again, you do NOT have to resubmit an application. Message Vincent Duong Tang to schedule another workshop date. However, priority will be given to those who have not taught for Foundations Choreography yet.
NOTE: Scheduling date priority is a first come first serve basis. The sooner you send in your application, the more priority you have on choosing a workshop date!
