The International Students Association (ISA) at Southwestern Law School was established in 2009 in an effort to provide both JD and LLM international students a channel to discuss common interests covering both academic and cultural advancement.
The ISA also provides its members opportunities to meet and establish contacts with other Southwestern student organizations in an attempt to foster close relationships between Southwestern and other foreign countries.
Our goals are to:
- Provide a forum for international LLM and JD students to meet each other as well as to meet Southwestern students from the local area through general meetings and social events.
- Address the academic concerns of the international students and to provide them with the necessary aid and resources.
- Recommend improvements to the Law School to maintain and better the academic and social success of the international students at Southwestern.
- Help familarize the international students to the Los Angeles area and especially the local area surrounding the Law School.
