The purpose of our group is to unite women of the African Diaspora at Occidental
College to academically and socially support one another. It will be a safe yet
open atmosphere to intellectually explore the plight as well as common/shared
experiences of women of the African Diaspora. As a group we hope to establish and
execute outreach campaigns to educate and involve the entire campus community.
