Meeting Times: Fridays from 12:30p to 1:30p

Progressive Leaders for Democratic Action is forming its first chapter at UCLA to educate and advocate for social & economic justice issues that include lowering student loan rates, raising minimum wage, civil rights, war/peace issues. In order to effect change, members will not only learn about these issues, but also will take direct action. This involves strategizing with local progressive leaders in the surrounding Los Angeles area, conducting surveys and research on important issues, networking with influential stakeholders, and directly working on an election campaigns. Members will come out of this experience a stronger and more civically engaged leader.
