I hope all of you have been enjoying the summer. On Thursday (8/8) the Silver Lake Picture Show will again screen another FREE MOVIE.

WHY NOT SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT WATCHING A MOVIE AT THE SILVER LAKE PICTURE SHOW THIS THURSDAY!!!
This summer The Silver Lake Picture Show will celebrate both classic and contemporary cinema with a free, bi-monthly outdoor screening hosted in Silver Lake’s new Sunset Triangle Plaza.
On Thursday (8/8), The Silver Lake Picture Show will screen "Empire Records". The feature film will be introduced by a short film by a local filmmaker. Note that this event is outdoors so bring something where you can lay down or sit on. Also bring your own food and something to keep yourself cozy.
The meet up place is at Santa Monica/ Vermont at 7:00-7:15pm on the corner where the subway station is at. Then we will take the 4 bus (heading to downtown) to Sunset and Maltman and walk to the event.
Empire Records is a PG-13 rated movie.
TOPSHOP has provided attendees with pretty mats, bottled water and popcorn. If you come along and TOPSHOP is present you might be receiving these wonderful items :)

The Sunset Triangle Plaza is located by the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Edgecliffe Dr. There will be a 99¢ Only store and a store called YUMMY.COM across from each other. The Sunset Triangle Plaza is located on the left side of YUMMY.COM.
If you're taking the bus to this social, the bus lines 2 or 4 (heading east or west, depending where you catch the bus) will take you VERY close to the location. You must get off at SUNSET/MALTMAN. Scan the area and look for a store called YUMMY.COM. The event is located right next to YUMMY.com
Drivers...USE GOOGLE MAPS. Only street parking is available. It shouldn't be too hard finding parking space if you arrive early.
