The Student Education And Research of Contemporary Health is a new addition to the SWC with a unique responsibility. Our purpose is to research a topic pertinent to the UCLA student body that is not already encompassed by an existing SWC committee and find effective, interesting ways to disseminate the information researched to the students. We have the capability to adjust our agenda to what is currently affecting the UCLA student body; thus, the students' need dictate our priorities. With that priority in mind, we plan to create programming that is both interesting and informative, with no limit on creativity. Most of all, we hope to make a lasting positive impact on the health of UCLA.
