Fashion Interest Group (FIG) is a student organization at the University of California, Irvine that brings together students with an interest in fashion that seek involvement within the industry.
FIG was founded in 2007 and is active in weekly meetings with DIY projects, the production of multiple photo shoots per quarter, and fundraising, while arranging an annual field trip to FIDM. Our biggest involvement is the planning and production of our Annual Spring Fashion Show, which will take place on May 23, 2014. This campus wide event involves a large demographic of UCI students where they showcase their talent and skills as designers, models, photographers and entertainment. The show is completely planned by and comprised of UCI students, and the majority of our proceeds will go to a non-profit organization.
