The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity was founded in 1901, in Richmond, Virginia, on the principles of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. SigEp has since spread across the country and has grown into what is now the largest fraternity in the nation with over 15,000 undergraduate members. SigEp UCLA upholds the national reputation by maintaining a strong presence on campus as the largest fraternity at UCLA with over 100 active members.

SigEp Cal O promotes leadership, service, and academic excellence through brotherhood. Our fraternity offers members many opportunities to lead others, to learn valuable insight from more experienced brothers and to give back to the community. Together, as a fraternity, our brothers organize and participate in activities such as intramural sports, philanthropy events (like our own Kicks for Kids, a charity kickball tournament), Greek Week, Dance Marathon, etc.

SigEp also has a strong tradition of being very involved on campus outside of Fraternity life. Our members are widely represented through organizations like Club Soccer, varsity sports, the Undergraduate Business Society (UBS), the Pediatric Aids Coalition (PAC), and ROTC. Additionally, many members hold leadership positions in these organizations as well as those that offer jobs to students, allowing new members access to a vast network throughout UCLA.

The SigEp experience is different. Our fraternity allows one to to bond with brothers who truly exemplify the core values of the founding fathers while still being able to be a true UCLA Bruin.
