We (a small group of dedicated students) founded this chapter of NAMI at USC in Fall 2014 in order to break down stigmas surrounding mental health.
NAMI is a national alliance on mental illness, the nations largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. Nami advocates for access to services, treatment, support, and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community for hope for all of those in need.
NAMI is now at USC and we are dedicated to breaking down barriers and debunking stigmas around mental illness. We host community meetings, host awareness campaigns, and engage in community outreach to achieve these objectives.
