Alternative Break Program
Provides an unique opportunity for students, staff and faculty to engage in service learning and volunteerism in communities outside of the Los Angeles area during their Winter Break after the Fall semester, Spring Break during the Spring semester, or Summer Break after the Spring Semester.

Jumpstart
Jumpstart is a national network that started at Yale University in 1993 that pairs motivated college students with preschool children from low-income communities. Together, they work together on language, literacy, and social skills for one full school year.
