Founded in 1926, Zeta Tau Zeta is a local, co-ed fraternity based at Occidental College.

As members of the Occidental community and as Zetas, we encourage, foster and appreciate the opportunity we have to learn and grow academically and socially. We, as individuals, seek out opportunities to grow and learn in a variety of ways that will, in turn, improve the group as a whole.

As Zetas, we embrace Occidental's equity and diversity and encourage an atmosphere of tolerance, acceptance and friendship among a varied and unique group of individuals by accepting members regardless of sex, ethnicity, background, sexual preference or religion.

As a local organization, we are dedicated to improving and giving back to our community. Our organization is committed to the service of our Occidental community, our community in Eagle Rock, as well as the community of Los Angeles; based on these principles, Zeta's official service organization is HOMEBOY INDUSTRIES, an LA-based foundation that empowers at-risk and gang related LA youth through job training plus employment, legal, rehabilitation, and educational programs.
We are also affiliated with the SOLANO COMMUNITY GARDEN and the PRISON BOOK PROGRAM, both of which focus on cultivating a brighter future for Angelenos through time, not treasure.
