This award recognizes the best and brightest whose academic successes and experiences in the engineering field have positioned them to make an impact.

Qualifications for nominees:
--Be a member of ASME
--Be an undergraduate engineering student (3rd, 4th or 5th year) Graduate students not eligible
--Be enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Engineering program from an ABET Accredited U.S. college or university, or from an equivalent international institution
--Track record of engineering experiences
--GPA of 3.0 or higher
