The Association of Chinese Americans was established at UCLA over thirty years ago and has since grown to become one of the largest student-run organization on campus. There is so much to learn about the rich history and day to day operations of ACA; Internship is your ticket to do so. Every year, ACA hosts its very own internship program, which gives members a behind the scene experience of ACA. Through our Internship Program, you can become more involved in every facet of ACA, from getting to know staffers better to participating in CACN, the culminating Culture Night production from a year of preparation.
Just one year ago, we were in your shoes as interns ourselves and we cannot wait to share our fond memories and watch you grow and develop as an Intern Class. Monkey Staff treasures our own time as interns, and we are certain you will value the experience as much as we did.
The Internship experience is geared toward those who are interested in becoming future leaders of ACA, but it will benefit anyone wishing to develop their leadership, teamwork, and time management skills as well. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join Internship, and the friendships and skills that you gain will stick with you for years to come.
Meetings will be at 6:00pm every other (ODD) Wednesday starting on Janurary 20th, and will be located at the lower level of Tom Bradley International Hall (near DeNeve Turnaround). The program will last until the end of Spring Quarter, when you will be able to participate behind the scenes as stage-ninjas for our Chinese American Culture Night (CACN) in Royce Hall.
We will see you all at the first meeting!
Your Internship Coordinators,
Maggie Shi & Myron Fung
