Join Friends of Art History, students, faculty and museum professionals for coffee and pastries beginning at 10 am in UCI’s Humanities Gateway 1010.
Meet Dr. Tushara Bindu Gude, LACMA’s Associate Curator of South and Southeast Asian Art, who will work with a UCI intern this summer at LACMA, with thanks to Friends of Art History. Dr. Gude will discuss her upcoming exhibitions and the museum's permanent collection, highlighting projects in which students may be involved during their internships.
Our own Dr. Patel will share stories about her fieldwork in South Asia and plans for a student internship in India this summer. She will also talk with us about Dr. Marika Sardar’s work with FOAH intern, Leilani Yamanishi, at the San Diego Museum of Art this past summer and plans for her summer 2016 intern.
