iVolunteer is involved with domestic and international volunteering in the LA community and internationally. For this week we will be accompanying CSSA for the Tree Musketeers domestic volunteering trip.

Trees need tender loving care too… and it’s a great way to dig in (literally) to the community. Trees need tender love and care in order to thrive and yield the greatest benefits to our community. Seven years is the life span of the average urban tree. The most common reason an urban tree dies prematurely is a lack of care. Because mature trees yield the largest benefits to our community it is essential to provide care for the trees in your community. For this trip make sure to wear closed toed shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Jacket and water bottle are recommended. No public restrooms are nearby once you have moved into the trees. Tree Musketeers will provide gardening tools necessary. Carpool may be provided for those who indicate they need it on the form.
